Guilford Little League is excited to offer a softball clinic with Guilford Middle School Chad Eaton before the start of Fall Softball!

The program will be held at the Lighted field at Bittner Park in Guilford.  

This program will be offered from 6:00pm to 7:30pm on the following dates:

Session 2

Majors (Ages 10-12 years old)

Monday, August 29th

Tuesday, August 30th

Rain Date: Thursday September 1st
 

Ten year olds (based on 2023 Softball Age Chart) can choose the one clinic that is most appropriate based on experience.  The cost for the 2 day session is $45. Space is limited to 15 girls, so please sign up today if you're interested. This is a great way to get your players some extra practice as we begin the fall season.

• Players should be league age 4 or 5 based on 2022 Little League Age Chart.
• 5 year-olds who have never played baseball are encouraged to play tee-ball. 5 year-olds who played Tee-ball in the Spring season are encouraged to play Minors A.
• Instructional focus.
• Games will tentatively begin the second week of September (after Labor Day) and conclude by the end of October.
• Teams will play 1 game/week, 1 practice/week depending on coach availability. Schedule will be available shortly before play begins in early September.
• Due to restrictions on sharing equipment, all players should have their own bat, helmet, and glove. If you cannot obtain a helmet or bat for financial or any other reason, please email us at guilfordlittleleague@outlook.com and we will work to provide you with a loaner.
• Games will be played against other GLL teams.
• Uniform will include hat and jersey

We will have as many teams as we are able to field based on the number of coaches who volunteer. If you are interested in coaching, please register to be a volunteer at the bottom of this page.

• Players should be league age 5 or 6 based on 2022 Little League Age Chart.
• 5 year-old players who played Tee-ball in the spring season are encouraged to play in Minors A.
• League Age 6 players will move up to AA in the spring and should consider playing AA this fall if they are comfortable hitting coach pitch.
• A ball is a mix of tee with some coach-pitch. Instructional focus.
• Games will tentatively begin the second week of September (after Labor Day) and conclude by the end of October. Schedule will be available shortly before play begins in early September.
• Teams will play 1 game/week, 1 practice/week depending on coach availability.
• All players should have their own glove and most have their own helmet and bat. If you cannot obtain a helmet or bat for financial or any other reason, please email us at guilfordlittleleague@outlook.com and we will work to provide you with a loaner.
• Games will be played against other GLL teams.
• Uniform will include hat and jersey.

• Minors AA is a mix of kid-pitch and coach-pitch. Instructional focus.
• Games will tentatively begin the second week of September (after Labor Day) and conclude by the end of October. Schedule is created outside of Guilford and is TBD.
• Teams will play 1-2 games/week, 1-2 practices/week depending on coach availability.
